Journey College students who are prayerfully discerning serving on the Student Leadership Team as a Student Leader for the Fall 2026 semester.
What This Is
The Student Leadership Team is a select group of students entrusted with helping shape the culture, experience, and operations of Journey College. As part of this opportunity, selected students will receive a Journey College Merit Scholarship as an investment in their leadership, faithfulness, and development.

Leadership Opportunity & Responsibility
Student Leaders are entrusted to steward a specific area of Journey College and are invited to step into meaningful leadership, influence, and responsibility.
Student Leaders are expected to demonstrate:
- Faithful participation in Journey College life
- Academic excellence and personal responsibility
- Christ-centered character and spiritual maturity
- Servant-hearted leadership and teamwork
- Attendance at leadership meetings and required events
- Alignment with the Student Honor Code and Student Handbook
- Humility, integrity, and a commitment to representing Journey College well
Student Leadership Expectations
- Lead from the front with presence, humility, and integrity
- Fully engage in Journey College rhythms, including events, gatherings, and Sunday services
- Participate in requested Journey Church staff or Legacy gatherings when applicable
- Model maturity through punctuality, professionalism, and personal responsibility
- Live aligned with the Journey College Student Honor Code, Journey College Leader Values, and Christ-centered values
- Attend weekly Student Leadership Meetings for vision, collaboration, care, and growth
- Maintain academic excellence.
Shared Care Commitment
At Journey College, leadership is not simply about responsibility—it is about caring for people.
All Student Leaders are expected to:
- Notice when peers may need support
- Offer prayer, encouragement, and presence
- Communicate needs with wisdom and care to the Journey College Director
- Partner with leadership in caring for the college community, including helping lead or facilitate student discipleship groups

Application Requirements
To be considered, applicants must submit:
- A signed Student Leadership Acknowledgment Form
- A 4–5 minute Student Leadership Merit Scholarship Video
- Proof of registration for Fall 2026 classes
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time Journey College student for the Fall 2026 semester
- Must be a Traditional Journey College student for all positions except the RTS Flex Leadership Scholarship position
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
Scholarship Renewal Requirements
This scholarship is awarded for one academic year and is distributed by semester.

To remain eligible for the Spring semester scholarship award, recipients must:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 during the Fall semester
- Successfully fulfill the expectations of their leadership position

All applications will remain confidential and will be reviewed exclusively by Journey College leadership and staff.
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. Leadership positions and scholarships are limited and will be filled through a prayerful and holistic review process considering character, faithfulness, leadership potential, and overall fit for the role.
